Stravinsky: Pulcinella Suite

One of my favorite pieces of music, arranged by the composer from his ballet. It is written in a neo classical style, and it was thought that Stravinsky based his composition on works by Pergolesi. However it is now known they were composed by a number of other composers, Domenico Gallo being the main source, and not Pergolesi. I have arranged some of the original works for various instrumental trios . At the current time Stravinsky’s work is in copyright, but the original works are not. I will add further works idc.

Wind Quintet Arrangement

I have arranged another movement from Parry’s English Suite.....”Caprice”. You can check it out here .

Parry: An English Suite

Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry, 1st Baronet (27 February 1848 – 7 October 1918) was an English composer, teacher and historian of music. Parry's first major works appeared in 1880. As a composer he is best known for the choral song "Jerusalem", his 1902 setting for the coronation anthem "I was glad", the choral and orchestral ode Blest Pair of Sirens, and the hymn tune "Repton", which sets the words "Dear Lord and Father of Mankind". His orchestral works include five symphonies and a set of Symphonic Variations All music.... ..........Most of the set of movements for string orchestra published as An English Suite was composed during 1914, but the work was left unfinished at Parry's death
