Parry: An English Suite

I’ve now completed arrangements of the complete suite for both clarinet quintet and wind quintet.

Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry, 1st Baronet (27 February 1848 – 7 October 1918) was an English composer, teacher and historian of music. Parry's first major works appeared in 1880. As a composer he is best known for the choral song "Jerusalem", his 1902 setting for the coronation anthem "I was glad", the choral and orchestral ode Blest Pair of Sirens, and the hymn tune "Repton", which sets the words "Dear Lord and Father of Mankind". His orchestral works include five symphonies and a set of Symphonic Variations. This piece ( An English Suite) was originally written for string orchestra and was published after his death. This arrangement is of the complete suite. 1.Prelude 2.In Minuet Style 3.Sarabande 4.Caprice 5.Pastoral 6.Air 7.Frolic They are all available separately, as are the movements from the Lady Radnor Suite. The prelude is also available for symphonic wind

Stravinsky: Pulcinella Suite

One of my favorite pieces of music, arranged by the composer from his ballet. It is written in a neo classical style, and it was thought that Stravinsky based his composition on works by Pergolesi. Howe
