The Twelve Days of Christmas - wind quintet

An original composition based on the 12 Days of Christmas, for wind quintet

"The Twelve Days of Christmas" is an English Christmas carol. A classic example of a cumulative song, the lyrics detail a series of increasingly numerous gifts given to the speaker by their "true love" on each of the twelve days of Christmas (the twelve days that make up the Christmas season, starting with Christmas Day).

I have added/removed/inserted bars of different length, changed the entry of each "day", started from Bb, modulating through C, Db, D and ending in Eb!

I have also added syncopation in parts.

 This gives the piece more interest both for the player and the listener!!

The melody is carried by all members of the quintet throughout.
